Only Snow remains
Out of all the key chain charms that I bought in Korea, only the ❄️ snow flake charm lasted the last six months.
Snow is my pet name, given to me on the very first day I met Case.
It was his name for me, for he was impressed by my courage to watch Snow White on my own, and ONLY he gets to call me by that name, for I don't respond to anyone else who tries to call me that.
The 다이안 charm went missing. The 소주 charm went missing...
As Isaiah 54:10-11 NIV: says,
[10] As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
[11] so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Today, I realised, no matter what people say about my actions, or what I do, it's just noise.
Snow survived the decimation, because the word cannot return empty.
Whether it is setting the table for 4,
learning how to sew a men's shirt,
Watching my calories to get fitter,
buying a new Brother FS60X,
or a new hand mixer set,
it is all done in faith according to Mark 11:24.
