Coincidence or what?

Jeff sent me a message this afternoon:

"Isn't it a coincidence that the quakes that hit Acheh both came the day after Christmas & Easter respectively? or a God-coincidence?"

I can't answer that question. But it could mean that God is very angry with the people of this Earth.
He has given the people two separate occasions to remember the Lord, and yet on these 2 separate occasions,
what has the people of the world done?vThe people are still taking it lightly. Well, don't say I didn't warn ya......

God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the Courage to change the things I can,
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Today, the school had its first semester Assessment. Imagine testing a 2 1/2 year old boy on his knowlege of the letters of the Alphabet.

NO WONDER Jasper cried lar....serves Lilian right. The boy is like this blur blur fella. I don't even understand half of what he says half the time.

But then again, I would darn not call any small kid that age blur or lazy. Well, HELLO. He cried for practically one entire period of break that Mercy had to take him out into the garden to settle him. Lilian daren't ask Jasper to do the assessment test after that, in case he cried again, because he got so stressed out by the assessment test. Well, OF COURSE lar!

Here I am rolling my eyes. She wanted to PROVE to me that the boy could do it. By scolding him and nagging him. Let me roll my eyes again. Try doing it again, and see what happens lar...ok. You can go settle the boy yourself.

Anyway, today I bought an Abacus for RM8.30 from Popular Bookstore. Why? Out of interest. My school has been having Mental Mathematics class using the Abacus. I think it is very misleading to call it a "Mental Maths" class. Technically, the the Abacus and the Montessori beads function as an aid to calculating, whether it is division, addition, subtraction or multiplication.

No doubt the company is just jumping on the bandwagon by having a "mental maths" class, so to term it. The fact is, the abacus has been used by the chinese for Ages hence. So, it really is not what you called a new invention. The concept is just revamped and remarketed to make it sound good to those desperate parents out there. But nonetheless, I would recommend it than the calculator any time soon.

My first official workout training with Khu yesterday was a TERRIBLE disaster. He didn't even ask me to continue after an Hour......muahahhahahaha

He said he suspects me of having Low Blood Pressure, because I faint and get dizzy easily. Yeah, I couldn't even walk straight after the first 12 minutes that I felt like giving up. He also said that I had to change my diet: Not enough Iron, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin C. Hmmmmmm...talk about Iron supplements....*Sigh*. I am also easily suspectible to sicknesses....like colds, cough, fever..you name it....

*DAMN*.

ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

The article is going to drive me nuts. How Can I even write about modern vs traditional types of instructions or any kind of methodology in a parent magazine??? DAMN...asking me to summarize it is just too bold a movement. If parents have any idea on what it means anyway.....ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!
I should have just stuck to whatever Shirley asked. I don't even know how to start on the article now, as it is. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.
