Less is More.
Sometimes people just don't want to know the truth.
At least, I feel that the clients whom I deal with at work in events, prefer to believe a lie, than to have to entire truth.
To them an exaggerated idealistic half-truth is better than a whole truth, as long as the half-truth works.
People aren't interested in the real truth. Unless something goes wrong, most people can't be bothered to find out if a fact was exaggerated, a half-truth, or a complete farce from the start.
That's just life.
