Death of Blackie: 02-02-25
Day 1: 03-02-25
Today, marked the first day post Blackie death. Also marks the first day we no longer have either cats at home. I think my mum is worried Abt me thinking Abt the cats and asked me to go to work. But I insisted on staying home. I ended up going to Midvalley, and getting two of my mates to come. I think they know
I'm grieving, that's why they came.
At the mall, periodically memories of both my cats come up, but I'm distracted by what's happening at the mall.
We talk abt dato's upcoming wedding.
I also called a friend in Melb who recently broke up with a girl he had been dating for two years. The full story came up after he only gave me two lines Abt why he broke up with the girl.
A number of friends have called me up to ask how I'm taking it, after hearing both my cats passed away
Day 4: 06-02-25
1) Today I was out of the house the whole afternoon. My mum took the opportunity to clean out the plastic stuff in the black rubbish bin in the yard.
We used to keep a bin in the kitchen for things classified for recycling, but mum says it might attract rats so she moved it. I still had to put tins and plastic bottles somewhere so I dumped it in the black bin in the yard for the same purpose.
2) mum took a firm paper box from one of our deliveries and placed all the unopened cat items and food puzzle toy in it. Also the kibbles in transparent containers. They used to be on top of the unused freezer top (which became like a table) I didn't move anything because I think she wanted to clear the space?
Then she placed the box on top of a plastic box where I store the rest of the cat food.
Then I think she disposed she might have disposed the remaining plastic containers where I used to keep the other cat food with the ones from the black bin as I couldn't find them around the house. I could t really care Abt those plastic containers as they are empty and have to dispose of them eventually but they are reusable.
3) mum moved the stacked plastic chair at the entrance.
She stuffed the cat scratch pad into the litter box and moved it under the table. I think she was thinking of moving it but then realized it still has cat litter. I wasn't pleased with her moving it so I pulled everything out again but instead of leaving the scratch pad on the floor, I put it on one of the china stools under the table.
