Snail Mail: My Newest Toy
Technically that should come after my Korean Drama Dvds, but recently I was reminiscing about my snail mail penpal days. Remember how we used to wait for the postman to send a mail, and how we used to go without a mobile phone in our early twenties? Things were retro then, but we lived...
Now, I stopped hand writing penpal letters more than ten years ago, but I have still used the postal services to send packages to Korea and back to Malaysia.
Facebook and twitter is fine, and i'm all for promoting my blog. The internet has really spoiled us, but having that piece of paper with a handwritten note still beats it all! Since I am still 'single', and have all the time in the world (apart from working, and studying!), I think that is exactly what I'm going to. Send some of my mates some loving notes through snail mail. It would really add a personal touch to the correspondence.
So if you want me to send you some snail mail, please drop me a note!
