2025: Seongsu: Seoul Forest

Day 13: 31/12/25: 

 Today I let Chat GPT suggest options for my last morning walk in Seoul City..

Since I was staying at Novotel Ambassador DDP, it suggested Seoul Forest for a slow walk to see deers in Seongsu (Line 2) 

And that's exactly what I did. Lol 

When I arrived at the Park, I went to check out the lake in the park. A young boy was throwing twigs on the lake trying to see if the ice was stable. 

I tried to pick up a rock from the ground, but the older man (his father) said the ground was frozen. 

It turned out the father and his son were travellers on holiday from Bangkok. He spoke impeccable English.

 I said, you guys go back to work on Monday, don't you, and it's a week's public holiday until Sunday? He confirmed it as such. 

I then moved towards the enclosure where the deer were kept. 

Yes, they were humongous. 

I then decided to take a walk along the length of the Hangang River next to the park. It was a lovely walk in the coolness of the day. 

As I had Kakao Maps with me, I could pinpoint my location. It was a good walk. I finally reach the subway and then made my way back to DDP. 

I found a Wellbeing ajumma style shop and ordered kalguksu for dinner. For takeaway, it was kimbap in case I was hungry at my hotel later.
