Guangzhou: (Day 4): Shang Xia Jiu Pedestrian Street Mart

Today we decided to use the 3 day Metro pass to the max. 

After taking a rest at the hotel, we got on to Line 1, and alighted off at ChangSou Lu station. (Translated to Cantonese, it means long life).

As you walk out, you will see a mall above the station. Get off the station and out to the street, looking for signs that point the way to Shang Xia Jiu. 

You will know, as there will will be many pedestrians going in that direction. 

This is a street that houses many gold and silver shops. 

Gold discount at 25% -12% off. 

I decided to save my money and use it for sewing classes. Maybe take  art enamelling classes in future or something.  Hmm.

After walking about a kilometre or more, you will reach the avenue.

We checked out a couple more shops selling clothes,but none fit. In the end, I just bought some boys t shirts as I urgently needed some clean clothes.
