Two Moles: I started sewing lessons today!
After 45 years on this planet, I finally decided to learn how to use the sewing machine! LOL
So what have I done? I decided to sign up for sewing lessons at a sewing academy in Subang SS16!
My first lesson started yesterday.
The instructor, Angela, taught me 3 types of handsewing stitches.
She also taught me how to start up a modern Brother sewing machine with a basic display lcd screen.
How much were the fees? The classes are RM550 for five lessons (2 hours each).
So what did I end up doing for my first lesson?
Yesterday i made a reversible pouch with 2 different fabric patterns.
Why did the instructor, Angela say i have some kind of sewing background when i clearly have never used a sewing machine in my life? Perhaps I have some knack for patterns.
The same way I can understand a map, and visualise it without always depending on the GPS, perhaps.
Perhaps I just have visual memory. LOL
