Rebirth: Day 3 (Naming Your Truth)
🌿 Naming Your Truth:
Some things only become clear with time.
Last year, after spending weeks with two friends, brothers, one of them — (both married) — told me straight up,
*“If I weren’t married, I’d ask you out.”*
He said it in front of his brother. Not flirtatiously, but matter-of-fact. He just wanted me to know.
He was being honest.
But he drew his line in the sand.
-----
I didn’t need validation from that moment.
But I did clock something:
Even when I’m not performing, not dressing up for attention, not playing any game —
people still notice.
This story resurfaced this week. And the way people reacted said more than I expected:
*“Why now?”*
*“Who was it?”*
What they don’t realise is I wasn’t trying to stir drama.
I was naming something many won’t admit:
That attention and attraction happen — even when boundaries are clear.
And that being noticed doesn’t mean I owe anyone anything.
I’m not trying to prove anything.
I don’t need to over-explain.
I know who I am.
And I know that I can walk into a room and quietly shift the atmosphere —
just by being present, grounded, real.
People feel it.
Even the ones who pretend not to.
