AirAsia: Onboard Seat Upgrade & Food Options (Flying Back to KL)
I haven't taken a flight on AirAsia planes in a very long time.
It has either been Malaysia Airlines, or Jetstar for my last 3 international flights.
So on the A320 plane, apparently there is the option to upgrade your seat onboard.
Upgrade options on the Hot Seat start from Rm40 to Rm100.
Whereas for the Hot Seat Extra Legroom (which is the middle row), it starts from Rm60 to Rm120.
There are criterias that passengers need to meet if you want to take the Hot Seat Extra Legroom options as it's normally next to the emergency door.
The seats are for passengers aged 15 and above, and for able bodied passengers only.
Payment options include international credit cards, as well as Union Pay.
I didn't know about this option as I didn't pay for the tickets this round. (Mum was sponsoring!)
However it's good to know, when I'm paying for my own tickets.. if I want ease of seating and more legroom options for myself.
Food options from Guangzhou:
This set cost rm10 (not including tax yet).
This is cheap considering what I have been paying for food in Guangzhou, so far 🤣🤣🤣
Food manufcatured in Shah Alam, Selangor.
On my flight back from Guangzhou, on the Air Asia plane, they only had Nasi Lemak Light remaining ...
As food need to be halal, or Muslim friendly for Malay passengers, they didn't restock food supplies in China.
So they had run out of Nasi Lemak Classic and Nasi Lemak Jumbo sets, which I was looking forward to order.
Payment options are credit card (digital signature required) and cash only. No debit cards are accepted, as wifi or data is not available.
