yes there is a Starbucks cafe in the middle of Shamian.
my coffee is a Caramel Macchiato which cost 37Yuan for large. Yes, pricey..so of course, I shared the drink with mum.
It is located along Zhong Shan 4 Road, along the way to the Peasant station.
The service was kind of slow, considering the morning crowd was small, and the restaurant wasn't even packed.
After breakkie, we took the Line 1 metro, and alighted off at Huang Sha station.
ShaMian Do is an area near the harbour, which has many western influences in the local architecture.
It was a very hot day, and I regretted wearing my thick top. Sigh.
This place is busy on weekends with many couples having engagement photos taken..
A lot of youngsters, especially teenage girls come dressed up and take selfies of themselves...
there are many small pop up gift shops around.
