Day 39: Post Blackie's Death (The rat problem).

There is a rat running around the kitchen.. the problem with rats is that if they don't find any food around the kitchen, they will try to bite stuff around the kitchen as they get desperate. 

These rats have been there even when Blackie and Thor are alive. Now without my cats, they still stay on hoping to find some food in the kitchen.

Today I didn't have the frame of mind to deal with the rats..

So I took some of the remaining cat kibble in the container that I have ...made a Hansel and Gretel style trail to the patio outside...

And I went outdoors to take the kitchen garbage out. 

Now, I can see that this rat isn't dumb. When I came back into the kitchen, I saw it running back and forth in the patio. (He understood what I was doing) 🤣🤣🤣

I then quickly cleared and collected the trail of kibbles, and dumped it into the pile of kibbles in the patio.. 

Then I shut the door, so the rat stays outdoors In the patio for the remainder of the night instead of running back and forth in the kitchen making a mess. 

I couldn't be bothered to catch it. But ya, it will try to come back indoors tomorrow morning. But for now, it is distracted by the kibbles I left in the patio.
