Guangzhou: (Day 4) Clothing shopping & Park Central, TienHe.

The thing about being a bigger than the average local female is that it's hard to find clothes when shopping in Guangzhou.

It's more prevalent of an issue if you want to check out the warehouse clothing malls. 😅

Today, it was an unsuccessful many attempts at getting any decent clothes for my size.

We went to the Guangzhou West Raillway Station to try to get some clothes from the warehouses, but unless you are as thin and lithe as the locals, good luck.

Also, the sales people had a way of talking that made you think you are losing a good deal.

You just need to have an iron mettle and walk out if there is nothing that fits you.

It's their job to sell you clothes regardless whether they look pretty on you or not.

Next we went to Central Parc, located in Tien He.

The outdoor garden

This place reminded me of an over priced TRX mall in KL. There essentially were not  any good places you could sit down for an affordable cup of coffee and cake.

All the tea and drinks cafe were crowded with young people who weren't able to afford dining in the restaurants.

If there is one thing I have learnt from this entire trip, it is that eating out in Guangzhou is more expensive than buying clothes. Clothes is cheaper than eating out .. sigh.

Even heading to the supermarket, food supplies isn't any cheaper either.

If you want clothes, then it's cheap in Guangzhou. But eating out costs more than eating out in Kuala Lumpur.
