Guangzhou: Welfare lotteries

In Australia, these would be called 'scratchies' or scratch cards. 

In GZ, they are called 'welfare lotteries'. I guess they are supposed to help peasants like me win the lottery ? 🤣

Or are they supposed to help the welfare of the disadvantaged? 

Maybe both. 

These ones in GZ retail for 10 yuan each. 

No, I didn't win any. 

But it reminded me of my time in Melbourne, when I was going through a scratchies phase and was hoping to win some spending money 🤣
