Eats: Dad's Birthday @ Duck King, Jaya One.

This is my last post before I leave it for the weekend. Lots of activities happening this weekend, with lots of camwhoring. There is also the Puma Evolution of Suede Finale party on Friday night, thanks to Bangsar Babe for the tickets. ^^

This is a belated post, taken during my father's birthday in mid February this year. He had asked to celebrate at the Duck King Restaurant. This outlet is located in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.

Duck King Restaurant (王帝鸭) is a non-halal chinese restaurant, that (surprisingly) branched out from Indonesia!

I liked the crispy Roast Duck skin.

Interesting tasting Dual Cooking Style Kailan

Hot plate dunno what. (not sure beef or venison?) >_<

Steamed fish (the most expensive dish on the menu costing at least Rm100 ish)

Sam Bui Kai. (Three Mug Chicken) Click here for info. Apparently popular
in Cantonese TVB dramas for some strange reason.

Dessert dunno what...but it wasn't my cup of tea

My dad enjoying his birthday cake. YUM.

Food Rating: 8/10
The food is not too bad. However, this is not the kind of place that one goes on their own, preferably with their families for a reunion, or birthday dinner (as this post is!)

Since my father likes this place, maybe it means older people like this place? LOL.

Price: the price was close to RM500 ish for a table of 10, and prices were hiked up as it was in the middle of Chinese New Year! I have to thank my brother for footing the bill. Ha ha ha. >_<
